notifications on the iPhone

Hi I was wondering is there A way when notification come on on your
iPhone to have the sound for them play and after you open your phone and
go do the notification center.

Be able to look at what came in but not have it speak what came in when
the notification sound goes off and also let me look at the preview of
the notification that came in when I am in the notification center.

I am running the latest IOS on an iPhone 6 s plus.

Hi,

Go to settings, general, accessibility, VoiceOver, and then go all the way down to speak notifications on or off. You can turn it off here. The sound will still play but you will have to open your phone to view.
