Discussion:
IOS 12 and notifications, how do I see others in the group?

I remember reading when iOS 12 came out about how much better notifications
were with it. Can someone please tell me when I'm notified that I have a
group of notifications such as with my Sports Alerts app to drill down and
get the separate notifications in the group? I've tried 3D touching on the
group, single finger swiping down to get choices of view or manage but
neither seems to give the option of seeing the other notifications in the
list. I really don't want to be taken to the underlying app but simply would
like to be able to peruse the other notifications in the group as it used to
do before iOS 12.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

double tap on the group to expand it. You should see all of the other notifications.

hi Ellen, when you get to the group of notifications that you are interested in, let’s just say it is USA today, then do a double tap. Right then voiceover should say expanded. Then flipped to the right and you should get all notifications from USA TODAY.
then, if you flipped back to the left, voiceover will say, show less. in other words, those notifications will then be collapsed. I hope this helps. If not, just shoot me another text and I’ll be glad to help more.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what your problem is, but I have 12.1. Anyway, regardless of which I have had, I check my Home Page periodically, and if there are Notifications, it will say so.

Best regards,

Carolyn
