Hi folks

A friend of mine that knows him very well about ios has tested his iphone 8+ against the xr of his sighted wife. He found out that with voiceover on, the xr is even a little bit slower than the 8 or 8+. I just wonder has anybody been able to compare these 2 phones and can this behaviour be reproduced?
Regards
Davy

"just a bit slower" is a pretty generic statement. There are so many factors which can determine s[peed.

That doesn’t even make sense, XR has a newer processor.

Yes Sieghard I admit you are right in this opinion but today he tested the xr and the xs and that last one was much more faster in his opinion and unless the phone is smaller than the xr the stereo sound was larger and better base for the xs.

I have an iphone 8 and an XR, I don't notice much difference in performance, however I do notice one difference. Even though the XR has a newer processor, it boots up slower than the iphone 8, other than that the performance is very similar.
