My daughter is out of the country and we are using What’s app for texting. Neither of us has much experience with the app and would like to know if you can make voice calls to another country using the app. I know you can call when in the same country but not sure about the international service.

Yes you can. As long as you both are on WiFi during the voice and/video call, no data charges to worry about.

So it won’t matter where you are.
