I cannot figure out why “mirror my iPhone” is not working with mail and messages on my Apple Watch. If I delete on my MacBook, iPhone, or the watch, it does not seem to be taking. Everything is checked off in iCloud. Is there some preference or other I need to check? I’ve tried resetting everything, but to no avail.

Hi christine,

Mirroring has to do with how you are notified about messages, not whether they are deleted on one device when you delete them on another. Mirroring your phone means that message notifications will work the same way on your watch and phone. Make sure Messages is turned on in iCloud settings on all of your devices. I know you said you checked that, and if it really is turned on everywhere and not working, your best bet would be to sign out of iCloud on each device and then sign back in.

Best,
Anna

Where exactly do you find iCloud and more precisely Messages on the Apple Watch?
Is it in the Watch app or on the watch itself? I must be missing it since I can't seem to locate an iCloud setting on the Apple Watch in Settings.
