Discussion:
How does one manage when the double-tap doesn't work for the ENTER key?

I’ve come across a situation where, when trying to add a podcast in a certain app, all double-tap does is return you into the edit field you’ve already completed. (Using a Braille or a BT keyboard, however, pressing the ENTER key submits your podcast to be added.)

I know there are in fact more situations like that that exist, but I don’t know what you’d do on an iOS onscreen keyboard when neither a double-tap nor a long press activates ENTER at that point to the app in use. Anybody enlighten us? Thanks.

Hi,

You can try the Return key on the onscreen keyboard. Sometimes that works.

Best,
Anna

Ok. I found a search button on the iOS screen there, which does what one wants when double-tapped.
