Removing email account from 6

Hi,

I have an i Phone 6 that has my email account attached to it. I upgraded
to an 8+ and would like to remove the account from the 6. I've looked
and tried to figure this out on my own, but have had no success. Could
someone please help me with this? I'm using the latest IOS version. Thanks.

Go to settings > accounts and passwords and find your account. double tap to open. At the bottom of the screen is a delete account button double tap on that.

On the other hand, unless your selling or getting rid of said iPhone. See no reason to delete the account and make use of both devices where you can. Just another perspective to consider.

I have all my email accounts and with IMAP being the most common email type these days, what you do on one device, should sync and carry over to others in which you use. So that they are all in perfect harmony.
